“fine” art / shows

My art practice revolves around the deconstruction of stigmas and taboos, as well as the reconstruction of the authentic self. By using and repurposing unexpected materials, I aim to challenge the preconceived definitions of fine art spark truthful and vulnerable conversations about personal experiences, narratives, and mental health. Each piece is a visual commentary on the interconnectedness of the human experience through our discomfort and acceptance of life, death, love, and pain. - inviting viewers to reconsider their own relationships with their personal truths and perspectives.

BRAvehe(art)ist showcase

The BRAVEHE(ART)IST showcase was a curation of artists and creatives who share heart-centered passion for supporting their community. My solo-exhibition featured paintings and mixed medium works, all apart of the “Stay Golden” collection. This collection encapsulates a traumatic and painful period of life, but is inspired by the determination to survive and the necessity of staying true to one’s self through the most challenging of times.

progression

“Progression,” is the adaptation of the “Stay Golden” collection. Inspired by some of the darkest moments and most challenging experiences, I sought to transform this darkness into works of art and that gives texture to emotions. This process has allowed me to heal from so much and now become a vital tool in my creative practice and personal life. I aim to share this tool, my art, and my story in order to open safe and honest conversations around mental health and raise suicide awareness. This collection was debuted at Maya Moon Collective as part of their featured artist series.
